Training Needs and Backyard Setup
Setting up a reliable training space requires equipment that accommodates players across different skill levels. With overall dimensions of 6x6x7ft across the frame and net, this lacrosse goal is designed to serve both adult and youth players’ training routines.
For backyard practice, it is built to endure harsh weather conditions without deforming, loosening, or breaking over time. Because it matches standard facilities and equipment, it integrates smoothly into various practice locations while maintaining compatibility with standard gear.
Package Configuration and Specifications
This complete training accessory set includes a steel frame and a net with overall dimensions of 6x6x7ft. The structure is built with a 1.5-inch powder-coated 17-gauge steel frame and features a built-in snap-locking system to secure the poles together. It comes equipped with a 4 mm heavy-duty polypropylene UV-treated net and includes 50 elastic ropes specifically provided for net attachment, forming a fully equipped package designed for standard adult and youth lacrosse practice.
Key Build and Design Features
The goal is built around a 1.5-inch powder-coated 17-gauge steel frame paired with a 4 mm heavy-duty polypropylene UV-treated net. This durable construction withstands harsh weather conditions without loosening, deforming, or breaking over time.
For added practicality, the bottom features a foldable design that quickly collapses into a smaller size for carrying, transportation, and storage. Assembly is streamlined through a built-in snap-locking system that connects the steel poles, alongside 50 elastic ropes provided for securing the net efficiently.
Notable Advantages and Practical Considerations
A notable advantage is the portable design, featuring a bottom section that collapses into a smaller size for straightforward carrying, transportation, and storage. The built-in snap-locking system and 50 elastic ropes save time by making assembly quick and efficient. Additionally, the 17-gauge powder-coated steel frame and UV-treated polypropylene net resist deformation, loosening, or breakage during harsh weather.
In terms of practical considerations, users should plan for its full 6x6x7ft dimensions during training sessions to ensure proper compatibility with surrounding facilities and standard equipment.
Buyer opinions
Based on a limited sample of review excerpts, buyers share mixed opinions rather than verified specifications. Several reviewers praise the goal as well-made and sturdy, noting that the metal frame and netting hold up well during practice. Easy assembly under ten minutes, straightforward folding, and a reasonable price are also frequently highlighted. However, feedback is not entirely uniform; one buyer remarks that while it works fine for the money, users should not expect a high-quality goal, pointing out differences in expectations across the sampled comments.
Selection criteria
When selecting a lacrosse goal, material durability should be a primary consideration. Look for weather-resistant construction, such as a 17-gauge powder-coated steel frame and a 4 mm UV-treated polypropylene net, to ensure the structure will not deform, loosen, or break outdoors over time.
Portability and ease of assembly are equally important. Features like a bottom foldable design for compact transport and storage, along with snap-locking steel poles and elastic ropes, save setup time. Finally, check that the 6x6x7ft dimensions fit both adult and youth training needs while matching standard equipment.
